Horneywink Cider
In the heart of Cornwall, nestled among the beautiful countryside is Horneywink Woods – not only the playground for the locally loved and mischievous Lapwings but also the namesake of Cornwall’s finest ciders, Horneywink!
Horneywink is the old Cornish name given to the beautiful Lapwing bird, which is steeped in Cornish folklore, mystery and just a little bit of a cheeky chappy too!

We take immense pride and care in creating beautiful Fine Ciders, gaining expert advice and guidance from world renowned cider aficionados, cider making friends along the way and our own love of the fabulous drink.
We do not use any pesticides, sprays or fertiliser in our orchards, encouraging biodiversity, releasing ladybirds to control aphids etc. Planting shelter belts with a rich array of wildlife friendly plants and pollinators to encourage everything to thrive in and around the orchard.
Our apples are hand harvested to ensure only the best fruit is selected at the right times and is therefore reflected in the premium quality cider.
The Apple is the Star
We only make cider from apples grown by us or sourced from the South West. Our natural ciders are developed using time-honoured and low intervention methods.
We do not use nor will ever use any imported juice or apples, and we definitely do not use concentrate!
