Making the most of every Sip

There is no right way or wrong way to enjoy your Horneywink cider !
But here are some top tips if you want to taste every note of the flavour and enjoy.

Lose the Ice
If your cider is too cold, it will cost you flavour. Ideally serving the cider at cellar temperature, between 7 to 10°C, this will open up all the subtle notes of the wonderful fruit.

The Glass
The ideal glass to experience a Horneywink Fine Cider is in a white wine glass. The wider middle lets the cider open up and aerate (softening any sharp tannins or acidity), while the narrow top directs the complex orchard aromas and contains the fizz. Check out our shop page for some of our beautiful glasses available to buy and enjoy your drink. Its also a lovely more relaxing way to enjoy your drink and slow down.

Taste in Order
If you’re tasting a range of ciders, start with dry and work your way to the sweeter side. This gives your taste buds time to adjust.

Pair it Right
A premium cider complements many foods, including cheeses, oysters, crab, and even spicy dishes. A sweet cider is great at cutting through heat. Feel free to check out our great Recipe Pages, or mix things up with on of our Cocktails!

A Premium Cider
Less residual sugar and often less carbonated, giving the cider a wonderful puckering mouth feel while allowing the tannins and apple flavours to shine. Our Green label Horneywink is a beautifully balanced cider.
